Sesil Beatris Kalaycıyan was born in Istanbul in 1980. She graduated from the Sculpture Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2006. She completed her master’s degree at her alma mater in 2009. In 2004, she attended a workshop, which was held in Istanbul Design Week. Kalaycıyan has participated in many group exhibitions and competitions in Turkey. Currently, she continues her work in Istanbul.
