Barol Topaç was born in Ankara in 1967. He graduated from the Sculpture Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Anadolu University in 1998. In 1999, he began working as a research assistant at the Sculpture Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Mustafa Kemal University. In 2003, he completed his master’s degree at the Institute of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University, while he worked as a research assistant at the same university. In 2006, Topaç returned to Mustafa Kemal University and served as a research assistant at the Faculty of Fine Arts. He has had several solo exhibitions in Turkey. He has also participated in many group exhibitions and international symposiums in Turkey and abroad. Topaç received various awards in Turkey. He is a member of International Association of Plastic Arts, UNESCO and A.I.A.P.
