Selim Güneş was born in Borçka in 1961. He is an electrical engineer. In 1989, he started in photography. His photographs and articles have been published in many magazines and other publications. Güneş published the book “Istanbul City of the Lodos Winds” (Istanbul: August Publications, 2008). In 2010, he shot the long film “Snow white”. He had the solo exhibition “Istanbul – Istanbul” at the Taksim Art Gallery in 1998. He has also participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. He is a member of IFSAK. Currently, Güneş continues to work in Istanbul.
