Selin Alemdar was born in Istanbul in 1979. After graduating from the Italian High School in 1998, she studied communication and video production in Florence. In 2000, she moved to Rome, where she studied photography at Instituto Superiore di Fotografia. In 2005, Alemdar studied fashion at Instituto Europeo di Design in Rome. Alemdar has been working and living in Milano and Istanbul since 2006. Her photographs have been published in many magazines such as Marie Claire, Elle TR, Cosmopolitan, Maxim, Gioia, Skylife, Instyle Home, Vogue Turkey, Ice Magazine, Andante, and A Magazine.
