Sergen Şehitoğlu was born in Istanbul in 1980. After finishing at Saint Joseph High School, he graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University. He worked with various photographers to develop his technical skills. In 2010, his works were chosen for the renowned "Silvershotz Folio 2010, Selected Artists" and published in FOLIOS 2010. Şehitoğlu is one of the Founding Member of G.F.J (Initiative of Young Photography). Şehitoğlu has had several solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. He currently pursues his master′s degree in Photography at Marmara University.
