Prof. Dr. Serhan Oksay

Serhan Oksay was born in Istanbul in 1963. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University in 1985. After completing his master′s and doctoral degree in Economics at the same university, he pursued his study in economics at Westminster University. In 1985-1996 he worked as a specialist, and branch director in the undersecretariat of treasury and foreign trade. He also worked as an assistant counselor of economy and commerce in London.

Besides being an academic, Prof. Dr. Oksay has taken photographs of the world around him since 1982. He has a vast collection of Canon & Leica cameras and lenses. He is specialized mainly in nature, travel and portrait photography. His works have been exhibited in various galleries in Turkey and abroad. Dr. Oksay has written numerous articles for magazines and his photographs have been published in many publications. He currenly lives and works in Istanbul.
