Serpil Kapar Kılıç was born in Munich in 1974. She graduated from the Department of Painting-Work Education in the Faculty of Education at Gazi University with an award of merit in 1996. In the same year, she received a mention award in the 6th Adana Cement Industry Joint-Stock Company Painting Competition. Kapar Kılıç completed her doctoral degree, proficiency in art at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Hacettepe University. In 2004, she won a prize “Young Painter of the Year” in the Young Painter Competition of the Year 2004, which was organized by Rh+ Art magazine. Kapar Kılıç has had 11 solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She is a member of UNESCO IAA International Plastic Arts Association.
