Sevim Sancaktar was born in Istanbul in 1984. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Uludağ University in Bursa. Her works have been published in several magazines and catalogues including “Image Magazine” (France), “Artist Book” Catalogue of Central Pompidou (France), and “Iz Magazine” (Turkey). Since 2005, Sancaktar has had several solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She is a member of the REC Collective. Currently, Sancaktar lives and works in Istanbul.
