Sırma Doruk was born in Istanbul in 1987. She graduated from the Department of Photography and Video at Bilgi University in 2010. She has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. In 2015, she collaborated with Mehmet Kahraman and curated an exhibition "Possibilities and Choices," which was exhibited at Mixer in Istanbul. Doruk currently continues her work in Istanbul.
