Türkan Karalı was born in Erzurum in 1967. She graduated from the Department of Ceramics and Glasses in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University. She has been working and teaching ceramics at her workshop, which she founded in 1993. Since 2006, Karalı has also taught ceramics three days in a week at the Atölye Silis. She has had two solo exhibitions in Istanbul. She has also participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad.
